Description

Brimpts Farm nestles in the heart of the West Country's Dartmoor National Park in Devon. It has been a Duchy of Cornwall tenant farm since 1307. The Bradford family runs The Farm; Andy manages the estate and has steadily restored the outbuildings to create an idyllic sanctuary of calm. Bed and Breakfast guests are accommodated in the Cottage, originally the home of a tin mine Captain, a simply furnished property with outstanding views. There are three bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a cosy sitting room with a log burner. In the morning our guests can enjoy sizzling bacon and sausages with the aroma of good coffee, you could be out of bed before you can mumble ‘lie-in’. Brimpts is a wonderful place to visit in a stunning setting and has earned itself a well-deserved reputation for good, old fashioned hospitality. There is so much to do on and around The Farm, we can put you in contact with a number of local training and activity facilitators to make sure you have a happy and safe experience. All these activities can be arranged for individuals and groups. On site favourites include: climbing, abseiling, guided walks and orienteering while offsite opportunities include horse-riding, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and wild swimming.
