Monica and Seán invite you to relax and unwind in traditional farmhouse self catering cottage among mature gardens in picturesque rural area convenient for touring south and west of Ireland. We are approved as a four star property by Failte Ireland (the Irish Tourist Board) We have been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. Local Irish Experience Packages are available on request. Accommodation for five guests. Wi-Fi for emailing and browsing. A small food welcome pack available on arrival. The house can accommodate five guests in one double en-suite bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. It also features a spacious living room, traditional kitchen with modern conveniences, a main bathroom and a ground floor toilet. All bedrooms are on the first floor. The cottage is the ideal location for touring Limerick, Cork, Clare, Kerry and Tipperary and travelling part of the Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland’s first long distance touring route stretching along the Atlantic coast from Donegal to West Cork, you could fit in a section of it and we are also the gateway to Ireland’s Ancient East. Experience the real Ireland at Glenview Lodge and in the evening relax in front of a wood and peat stove where family records go back to 1685. Glenview Lodge is 2km from Broadford village, where you can visit the wild life arboretum and have a drink in the local pub. Enjoy the local Broadford Ashford Walking Trails. In Newcastle West you can see Desmond Castle and in Foynes the Flying Boat Museum. There are numerous nearby activities where you can enjoy museums, craft shops, commemorative sites, and equestrian activities. Restaurants for all tastes and budgets are available using local produced quality food. 30% deposit will be charged to secure the booking and up to 70% will be collected 4 weeks before arrival.
