Heyford House Bed & Breakfast Information
Description
The bed and breakfast is set in a quiet North Oxfordshire village in the old rectory. The building dates from the 19th, 18th and probably 16th centuries. The business is family owned and run and though we may not have all the sophistication of a 5* hotel we still have the amenities you would expect, free view TVs in each room with DVDs, free wifi throughout, hair driers, iron & board, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. available any time in the kitchen which is also available for private use. We are ideally situated for access to Oxford and Banbury, each 12 miles away and also serviced by a local train service from the village station. Woodstock and Blenheim Palace are just 7 miles away as is the Bicester Village outlet shopping centre. Bicester is also serviced by one of the best train services into London Marylebone. A short drive to the west will take you into the heart of the North Cotswolds with towns and villages such as Chipping Norton, Stow on the Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden and Bourton on the Water all easily accessible. Guests are welcome to take all 4 rooms and have a self catering holiday, get in touch with us directly to arrange and for rates. The owners come from over 30 years each in the hospitality industry so are well placed to meet your needs, if you're staying more than one night we won't throw you out during the day you're welcome to come and go as you please, sit in the garden, play croquet, walk, run or cycle along the many footpaths as well as explore the Oxford canal that flows through the village, with day boats available to hire from the local marina. One of your hosts is also a Personal Trainer so you cn always book a session or join on of his group sessions or even book a guided mountain bike ride.
