Description

Situated on the Welsh border in beautiful Powys, within an hour's driving distance of the Midland towns and Cities. With picturesque gardens, free WiFi in public areas and free onsite parking. Nestled amidst rolling hills and open countryside, this Grade II listed building, with a wealth of original exposed beams and timber panelled walls, exudes an atmosphere of luxurious comfort and classic Jacobean elegance. The hotel today is as rich in amenities as its 16th century structure is in history. With 19 rooms, all fully equipped to the highest standards, the Radnorshire Arms can accommodate individuals, couples, families and larger groups in relaxed and spacious surroundings. We offer the elegant Hatton’s Restaurant or for a quick snack or less formal meal there is always the Main Bar. We are very proud of the quality of their food, using fresh local produce wherever possible, offering excellent value for money without compromising on flavour. During the warmer times guests can enjoy a quiet meal or drink in the garden area with its landscaped spaces and children's play area. The Residents Lounge is the ideal retreat after a day exploring the area. The high spacious room has a large bay window that overlooks the main garden,. This really is the perfect place to sit and unwind, with a generous selection of games and books provided, or for a livelier evening we offer a pool table in our game’s room. There is much to see and do in the area with an abundance of Museums, Castles, shops and restaurants, even an Eco-Centre. All are here to be enjoyed and promise a memorable stay. Set your own pace, spend a day visiting picturesque villages or take a white knuckle ride on white waters! Enjoy a round of golf at one of the many top quality courses. Mid Wales and the Brecons is a long established mecca for walkers, with two National Trails, two long distance riverside walks and a number of shorter, but no less beautiful walks.

Ramps to the main building giving access to the bar, reception and restaurants. Rooms are available with wheelchair accessible wetrooms with grab rails, ramps for exterior steps are available on request.
