Sonata Guest House Information
Description
The Sonata Guest House, Kendal bed and breakfast is located on the edge of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. The Lake District National Park is only 3 minutes by car, and it’s 12 minutes from this Kendal Bed and Breakfast to Lake Windermere (at 12 miles long, the largest of the 16 Lakes), and 20 minute to the Yorkshire Dales (try Wallace and Gromit made-famous Wensleydale Cheese Creamery in Hawes). We are within 15 minutes of junction 36 of the M6 motorway. Manchester airport is approximately 1.5 hours’ drive time, with Liverpool within 2 hours. The Sonata Kendal B&B lies approximately 22 miles north of Lancaster, 55 miles south of Carlisle and 50 miles north of Preston. We are on the west coast London to Glasgow/Edinburgh mainline (with a railway station at Oxenholme, approximately two and a half miles away). The local Kendal Railway and Bus stations are only 10 minutes walk. We offer a more personal service, for example flexible breakfast times – it’s friendly and attentive but never intrusive. There are no rules, only consideration for others! You can be assured of a warm welcome and a friendly personal service throughout your stay. It’s a formula we think you will like – our reviews are on Tripadvisor, Google Plus and here. It’s a couple of minutes walk from the Sonata Kendal B&B to the shops, pubs and restaurants. The Brewery Arts Centre is nearby (12 minute walk) for live drama, music, film and dance.
