Welcome to Rose Cottage. You are invited to stay in our self contained, 400 year old, mud and stud thatch cottage, situated right in the centre of Lincolnshire. You can enjoy the privacy of your own lounge, complete with its' own open fire (and central heating too). The Gallery landing opens into a double bedroom upstairs with a double sprung sofa bed in the lounge. The cottage is complete with en-suite shower facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, freeview and DVD player. Our other room, the Courtyard Room is set in the Courtyard of Rose Cottage. Once again, it is a self contained unit all on ground level. Ideal for those of us who prefer not to use the stairs. This unit has a comfortable double bed, private dining, tea and coffee making facilities, freeview and an additional double sofa bed. Friendly pets are welcome in both rooms by prior arrangement. The Ebrington Arms is our local pub which provides an extensive lunch and evening menu, Tuesday to Sunday. Please note that booking is advisable. There is also a wide variety of restaurants in Woodhall Spa to tempt you. Woodhall Spa is a beautiful inland resort with an Edwardian character, set amidst magnificent pine woods. Regarded as one of Lincolnshire's most attractive villages. The village has a variety of attractions including two top class golf courses, the unique 'Kinema in the Woods', Cottage Museum, Jubilee Park outdoor heated swimming pool and several aviation heritage sites associated with 617 Squadron (the Dambusters). Horncastle is a 10 minute drive to the North and is famous for its' Antique shops. RAF Coningsby is 5 minutes away and the Aviation Heritage site at East Kirkby is 15 minutes away. Roman Lincoln or our beautiful East Coast is 21 miles to the East or West. We look forward to receiving your booking. Mandy and Louis Fitzaden-Gray
