This building was once a working mill which has been carefully and tastefully made into a lovely B&B. We arrived to be greeted with a very friendly lady called Lisa she offered us a cup of tea which was nice. She then explained in detail breakfast etc. Gave us lots of information about the area where to eat. etc her recommendations were fantastic we were not disappointed. Roundhouse Mill had everything we wanted for a short break in Cornwall. Lisa and Peter are wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome right from the start. Perhaps the location would be difficult for those without transport. The lane leading to it is difficult to spot and to get across the road for traffic on opposite side.

on arrival at Roundhouse and were directed to the car park, shown our room and given tea and cake, nothing was too much trouble and Lisa and Peter were very good hosts. Our room was lovely, had everything we needed and our breakfasts were lovely. Lisa gave us great directions to local tourist areas and gave us great feedback on places to eat. Lots of friendliness and character

Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome from Lisa and Peter followed by a nice cuppa with home made cake in the beautifull lounge with it's impressive wooden wheel and beams from the old former cornmill and warmed by a woodburner.
In the evening we enjoyed a good three course pub meal in the recommended nearby Crown Inn.
Next day after a lovely breakfast while enjoying the lovely views down the valley and bay, we then visited the Eden Project only a 10 minute drive from the B&B. Read more

Faultless 3 night stay for me and my teenage son!

Greeted by Lisa with a welcome pot of tea & delicious homemade cake, also booked our evening meal at a local pub (very grateful after long drive) - rooms modern, well decorated & clean, with en suite & amazing views. Delicious breakfast in gorgeous room with mill wheel. Outdoor pool a definite plus in summer! Absolutely faultless & very friendly service

Lisa and Peter clearly enjoy being the perfect hosts in this fantastic guest house. Always very friendly and nothing was too much trouble to ensure that we had the perfect stay. Breakfast was always delicous with good selection of prepared fruit, cereals and the full English of course. Often it was difficult to get away because we were too busy chatting! Very Friendly, Peaceful location, convenient for local attractions.

The acommodation was in an area convenient for many of the Cornish attractions, set on an elevated position and catering for just a few residence which was perfect for a quiet friendly stay.
