A Seaton Dream

We are your hosts Jamie and Alan. Way back in 2001 and one we bought this house simply as a home for us to live in, but sometime between signing the Purchase Contract and Closing Date it occurred to us that it would be the perfect place to welcome guests and offer them a place to stay on vacation where they would be comfortable and happy. I'm Alan and I can be quite outgoing. I had dreamed of doing something like this for decades. Jamie is pretty much the opposite of me. He is a "Home Body". For him the undertaking was a bit scarier but it has been proven to be the perfect fit. He pretty much runs the place and lives in a home where the world comes to him. It is hard to believe that this "idea" we had in 2001 has turned into a business we have run for over two decades. We have met so many wonderful people from around the world. We hope we are able to meet you as well. Jamie and Alan

A Seaton Dream has been welcoming guests since June 2001

    AIRPORT TAXI TO B&B

Just hop in a taxi at the designated area. It will take about 25 minutes during none peak hours.

    PUBLIC TRANSIT FROM AIRPORT

TTC (Subway & Bus): $3.25 per ride for 1 adult (rate may change). While this option may be the cheapest it is not very convenient and will take quite a long time. We suggest getting off the Subway at College Subway Station. From here you can transfer to the Carlton Streetcar and go four stoplights East and get off at Sherbourne Street. You then  walk one street East and turn right onto Seaton Street. We are one and a half blocks up at 243 Seaton Street.

    UP EXPRESS TO UNION STATION

Union Pearson Express offers reliable 25-minute travel between downtown Toronto and Pearson Airport. From Union Station you van get a taxi 2.7k to our place or you can get a Northbound subway and bus. We suggest getting off the Subway at College Subway Station. From here you can transfer to the Carlton Streetcar and go four stoplights East and get off at Sherbourne Street. From here walk one street East and turn right onto Seaton Street. NOTE: WE DO NOT SUGGEST WALKING TO OUR PLACE ALONG DUNDAS STREET EAST. ON THE CORNER OF DUNDAS AND SHERBOURNE THERE IS A HOMELESS SHELTER WITH QUITE A FEW PEOPLE HANGING AROUND OUTSIDE. IT CAN MAKE SOME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE.
