The rooms of the Casa di Annusca are called Mars Cupido and Venus for the subjects painted on the doors, by the Florentine painter Rodolfo Meli, the wooden ceilings painted with ash blue and antique pink walls, antique furniture and paintings by Rodolfo Meli and Elena Soldani Neri the walls give the rooms a very welcoming and original look of the house, the bathrooms all with shower have modern design fittings and in the Venus and Mars room you can see the original floors of the '30s. The well-equipped kitchen is available to guests with a small living room and in summer the beautiful garden full of flowers welcomes guests for breakfast, while in winter and in the middle seasons breakfast is served in the beautiful dining room of my apartment overlooking the garden and access from the garden stairs, classical music and candlelight abundance and variety of the buffet contribute to making the Casa di Annusca breakfast a must. The b & b is located in Oltrarno, the most authentic and beautiful district of Florence, full of private and historical gardens, the Boboli garden is located a few steps from the b & b, the Ponte Vecchio is a 15 minute walk, the neighborhood has excellent restaurants and typical trattorias and good pizzerias, shops of refined crafts and antique shops, it is not as central as other structures but allows you to live in a neighborhood not yet transformed by mass tourism and still authentically Florentine
