Description
Your hosts Caroline and Gareth offer you a very warm welcome at all times. A family run establishment, situated immediately next door to the well known Ryedale Folk Museum, in the picturesque village of Hutton le Hole in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. This is a perfect spot for exploring the North York Moors, Ryedale, York and the coast. The Barn Guest House and Tea Rooms have earned an enviable reputation for excellent accommodation and a charming place for something tasty to eat. We offer a selection of 7 well presented rooms - single, double, twin and family suites - all of which have en-suite facilities and are equipped with digital flat screen television, central heating, and a fantastic coffee machine and tea making facilities. Free Wi- Fi is available in most of the establishment. We are dog friendly and do not charge for their stay in exchange for a well behaved dog. Hutton le Hole is a dog friendly village with so many walks they will be spoilt for choice! Breakfast is served in the tearoom, overlooking the beautiful village green, where sheep can often be seen grazing. You can look forward to a full English breakfast with local produce, or lighter breakfast from our buffet table. We are proud to serve Yorkshire tea, or our excellent coffee alongside a selection of speciality teas. The residents' lounge is spacious, attractive and welcoming, with open fire for cool evenings. A great place to relax after a day out walking, cycling or visiting some of North Yorkshire attractions. .
Caroline and Gareth have owned The Barn since January 2016 and have used their 30 years hospitality experience to create a welcoming and friendly place to stay. The family are all actively involved in the day to day operations and can often be seen helping out in the Tearoom and welcoming the guests. Both enjoy walking their dog in the local area and are always on hand to help plan your days out. Apart from the great location The Barn Guest House and Tearoom is the perfect place for guests who enjoy walking, cycling or just looking for a place to relax.
