The Hayloft Information

Description

The Hayloft- newly converted into a boutique Bed and Breakfast, close to Pitlochry and Blair Atholl in beautiful Highland Perthshire. The hayloft is a romantic, peaceful hideaway, nestled up a hill and surrounded by nature. We have two individually designed rooms with vintage furniture, handwoven tweeds and fine linens. Each room has a spacious walk in shower and its' own private entrance. A fresh, continental breakfast hamper is delivered for you to enjoy in The Hayloft or Barn rooms using quality, local products including produce from the nearby Blair Atholl Watermill, there is a dining space in each room. We are a fifteen minute drive from Pitlochry and Blair Castle and around one and a half hours from Edinburgh. The Hayloft is an ideal base for touring the area, visit whisky distilleries, castles, the queens view, lochs and glens. Great for walking, cycling and nature. Easy day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.

Directions

  • Road from Pitlochry (7.0 miles)
    Coming from the A9 south, take the junction for Blair Atholl. At the next junction turn left, sign posted Killiecrankie. After the hamlet of Aldclune, take the second road on the left. There is a small sign 'the barn', please follow the barn signs. Continue straight up, you will go underneath the A9. At the next junction turn sharp left up the hill. At the very top of the hill continue straight ahead, over the cattle grid and turn right up the next drive.
