The Bell at Iden Information

Description

Set in Iden, just 2 miles from Rye The Bell at Iden is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine, dine in our restaurant or relax in our secluded rooms set in a converted stable Local legend has it, that the original building was used as accommodation for the monks that built Iden church. It is also thought that there is a tunnel between the pub cellar and the church, although this has not been discovered, we do keep our eye out for the vicar turning up in the cellar! Today, we serve homemade food, fine wine and local beer. We welcome both well behaved children & dogs. Enjoy great food in comfortable and relaxed surroundings, or stay in one of our spacious rooms. Our rooms are set outside of the pub in our beautiful gardens and are great for a well needed getaway. We have wonderful beer gardens for enjoying the summer days, and a warm cosy snug with a wood burning fire for the winter nights. The Bell at Iden features free WiFi access and free private parking with electric and tesla charging points. Guests can enjoy a bar and restaurant on site. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Every room comes with a private shower room . For your comfort, you will find toiletries and a hairdryer. tea, coffee, fresh milk and a kettle will also be provided as well as a mini fridge filled with bottled water.
