Boulder Hot Springs Information

Description

Boulder Hot Springs Inn, Spa and Retreat Center is situated on 274 acres which border on the Deerlodge National Forest. The building rests in the midst of southwest Montana’s spectacular beauty of snow-capped mountains and lush valleys. Our Inn offers a combination of elegant and luxurious B&B rooms for guests who want the best that a healing, homelike atmosphere has to offer and less expensive quaint and comfortable guest rooms. The greatest attraction of Boulder Hot Springs is our mineral-laden, geothermal waters, which are used in the indoor plunges and steam rooms, the outdoor swimming pool and also to heat the building. The use of the pools and steam rooms are included with the overnight accommodations. Since we specialize in healthy, active living and luxury at an affordable price, Boulder Hot Springs has chosen to be an alcohol, drug and smoke-free environment.

Centuries ago, the Native peoples of this land vowed not to fight in this area, and even warring tribes would come to use the hot springs for healing and rejuvenation. Therefore, this valley was called "Peace Valley." Boulder Hot Springs has continued to be a place of peace and healing, striving to heal the land, the building and the people who come here. Boulder Hot Springs is a member of the "Green Hotel Association" and for a number of years in a row has won the EcoStar Award for Montana businesses that are preventing pollution and looking after the environment. Situated in a building which is over 100 years old, Boulder Hot Springs is on the National Historic Register. The building which was close to being demolished was acquired by world renowned author and lecturer, Anne Wilson Schaef in 1989. Together with a group of other owners, Anne has continued to restore the magnificent and beloved Boulder Hot Springs.
