Carmen is from Guanajuato. Rick is from California. We met here in Guanajuato in June of 1965. We married in 1966, left Guanajuato and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. After 40 years in the Bay Area, we retired and returned to Guanajuato. Carmen had an idea, she bought a clandestine dump site and in 2005, Carmen had Rick build her a Bed and Breakfast. And that’s how Casa Zuniga Bed and Breakfast came to be.

Bus from GTO bus station (3.7 miles)The GTO bus station is not in GTO. take a taxi to Casa Zuniga at Monumento del Pipila. Exit the taxi at the Casa Zuniga/Funicular sign. you can see your home from this sign. The one with the landing pad.

Come to Monumento del Pipila. Park in the gated parking lot, Terraza del Pipila at the right side of the monumento. Let the men working the lot know you are staying with us. they will help you with your things and bring you home.
