    Please note our check in times are between 16:00 and 19:00 unless prior arrangements have
    been made with us.
    There is plenty of parking at the B&B and you can find us using the following directions.
    Castle Green DE4 3DJ Butts Drive
    Enter BUTTS DRIVE (private drive) from Alfreton road (A615) and travel to the top of the drive
    (150m), until you reach the Y junction keep left for 10m and you will see Castle Green B&B to your
    Coming from the North Take junction 29 of the M1, Chesterfield exit, take the A617 for
    Chesterfield. At the next roundabout take the A61 to Derby. Continue on the A61 to a set of traffic
    lights and turn right following signs for Matlock on the A632. Remain on this road for 7 miles until
    you get to Matlock. At the T junction of the A615 (main road) turn left, Butts Drive is the 2nd left.
    Continue along this private drive for approximately 150 metres to Castle Green B&B.
    Coming from the Northwest Follow the A6 into Matlock town centre, at the Crown Square
    roundabout go straight ahead, past Boots on your left. Go straight over the mini roundabout with
    the park on your right and cricket/football grounds to your left continue until see Esso Fuel station
    on your right continue (approx. 20m) until the Red Cross HQ on your right, Butts Drive is directly
    opposite on the left hand side.
    Coming from the South Take junction 28 of the M, the Alfreton exit. Follow signs for A615
    Matlock. As you descend the hill into Matlock a Red Cross HQ (signposted) on your left just before
    the Esso fuel station. Butts Drive (private Drive) is on your right immediately opposite the Red
    Cross HQ.
    Public transport Castle Green Guest House is approximately 1200 metres away and takes a few
    minutes’ taxi ride from both train and bus stations. The taxi rank is just outside both stations.
    The train service stops at places of interest and most local villages. There are good links to the
    national rail network with a regular service from Matlock to Derby and Nottingham.
    Buses run to Matlock from Sheffield, Derby, and Chesterfield as well as local services to
    Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Baslow.
