Castle Cottage has been welcoming travellers from far and wide for decades. Under new management, we strive to improve upon the exceptionally high standards already achieved by the previous custodians of this beautiful inn. We are an old inn with buildings dating back to 1585 but original architectural features such as wooden beams blend seamlessly with modern renovation and fixtures and fittings. Castle Cottage Inn offers 5 Star B&B accommodation in Harlech, North Wales with 7 guest rooms each named after a nearby Castle. Accessibility
Our business is situated in two of the oldest properties in Harlech; 400 year old properties by their very nature are not accessible to all. We do not have a lift to the bedrooms, however we do have two ground floor rooms in our Grade 2 Listed annex and one is suitable to persons of limited access. We do have three steps up into our main building, but we can offer assistance if necessary. Unfortunately we do not have any ground floor WC facilities (12 steps up to first floor facilities).We can also read the menu to persons with limited visibility. Public areas have automatic lighting sensors. We and our staff are willing to offer any kind of assistance that is required. Although we do not offer room service, we live on the premises, and we will always be on hand in case of emergency. We do all we can to provide all our guests with a personal and caring service, and we try to overcome any barriers that the physical limitations of the property create.

Road from harlech (0.0 miles)Castle Cottage is a gastro pub with rooms in two of the oldest houses in Harlech, 100 metres from the World Heritage Site of Harlech castle. We are just off the High Street (B 4573), close to all local amenities. We have a limited car park area in front of our annex (only three spaces), but there is an unrestricted car parking area nearby plus a public car park within 50 metres. We are a short distance for Harlech Train station, but we are on top of a steep hill, we can collect from the station!
