Chester Beatty Inn Information


The award-winning Chester Beatty’s is a family run Inn with over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Situated in Ashford in Ireland’s Ancient East and located 25 minutes South of Dublin City Centre. The Inn is set in the heart of the Garden of Ireland and is renowned for its warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere. The Inn dates back to the 1800’s and has just recently completed a full refurbishment. At the Inn we have 12 luxury guest rooms offering crisp white linens, complimentary WIFI and guest parking. Chester’s dining offers an informal relaxed atmosphere that is a favourite amongst guests and locals. There is open fires and an old world feel to the premises that always has a buzzing atmosphere. The menus use the very best of the local Wicklow produce and chefs cater to all tastes with a wide and varied wine menu or even a pint of local brew. Private dining is available for those special occasions with family and friends. The Inn is ideally that those wishing to explore pre-historic places of worship; follow on the footsteps of St Kevin in Glendalough’s 6th Century monastic site or experience the troubled times of the 1798 Rebellion in Wicklow Gaol .This county is home to the some of the most beautiful Gardens of Ireland and the Inn is 2 minutes’ walk to Mount Usher Gardens, Powerscourt Gardens home to Ireland’s largest waterfall is also 15 minutes’ drive and were recently voted No.3 in the World’s Top Ten Gardens by National Geographic. There is huge range of amazing family fun things to do in Wicklow Greenan Farm, Maze and Museum in Rathdrum will puzzle the family! Clara Lara Fun Park Wicklow is a unique outdoor adventure Park .The family can learn to surf at Brittas Bay or even pier jump at Wicklow harbour for free! Our Bar, Lounge, Restaurant are all on the ground floor with access through double opening doors. There are no steps for access to any of these. We have 4 double deluxe bedrooms on the ground floor with the remaining 8 bedrooms on the first floor which is accessible by 2 sections of staircase. All our showers are over Bath so there may be an issue if a customer cannot get into bath. In our public area we have a disability toilet.
