Built in 1892 in Folk Victorian style, Chestnut Cottage is one of Mineral Point's most recognized architectural landmarks. The Cottage is a featured point of interest on Mineral Point's historic walking tour. Chestnut Cottage celebrates the rich artistic traditions of Mineral Point, highlighting a range of artwork by prominent local artists. Guests at Chestnut Cottage will experience all the charm and comfort that Mineral Point has to offer. The Cottage features a cheerful living room, a bright, airy dining room, a fully appointed country kitchen, a downstairs bathroom with shower, and an upstairs bedroom suite featuring one queen bed and one twin bed. Complimentary coffee/tea service is provided. Cable television and DVD and CD players are available for use along with a library of music and movies. From Chestnut Cottage, it is a short walk to Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts and Pendarvis Historic Site.
