This double or twin room has a comfortable super-king sized bed (or two single beds if booked as a twin room), a bureau, chairs and bedside lockers. Facilities include a TV/DVD, CD player, a complimentary tray with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdrier, bathrobes and bedside lamps. The en suite includes both a shower-bath. an electric shaver point with well lit mirror and a heated towel rail. Complementary toiletries are supplied. This bedroom is on the first floor of the cottage. This room can also be prepared as a twin room at the same price, or have single occupancy at a reduced price- see website for details or contact owner to arrange.

This room is a beamed room with lots of character and a lovely window seat. There is a comfortable king-size bed, 2 fitted wardrobes with ample hanging space, a dresser and a set of drawers. Facilities include a TV/DVD, CD player, a complimentary tray with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdrier, bathrobes and bedside lamps. The en suite shower room has a walk in shower, an electric shaver point with well lit mirror and a heated towel rail. Complimentary toiletries are supplied. This bedroom is on the first floor of the cottage. This room can also be occupied as a single room (see website or contact owner for single occupancy rates).

Description
Church Villa B & B is a charming cottage, full of character and with modern comfort within easy reach of the Peak District. Come and stay to explore local historic houses, some great walking country and beautiful places to visit by car. With just 3 guest bedrooms the service is individual. Bedroom 1 can be double, twin or single occupancy. Bedroom 2 can be double or single. Bedroom 3 is a single room. All rooms go off the same staircase, so guests can combine any of the rooms for a group booking if required. Guests can truly make themselves "at home" with full use of a Guest Lounge and the Vine Room, which serves as the Breakfast Room, Dining Room and a seating area overlooking part of the garden. The large private garden is open for guest use at all times. With free wifi and writing area in each room, business people enjoy the facilities and uniqueness of this B & B and tourists benefit from a relaxed stay and excellent access to local tourist landmarks. Using local produce where possible, the breakfast menu has a varied menu including a full English breakfast; in addition guests can pre-order evening meals and packed lunches. Special diets are catered for provided details are provided in advance. There is a guest fridge. Local tourist sights include Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall (old and new), Stainsby Mill, Bolsover Castle, Haddon Hall and Barrow Hill - Britain's only surviving operational Roundhouse engine shed. Shoppers may choose from Meadowhall, Junction 28 outlets, Chesterfield Market, Bakewell town and village craft shops throughout Derbyshire.

Accessibility
Guests should be aware that due to the character of the cottage there are no downstairs bedrooms. There are no steps into the house but there are single steps between rooms and a wooden staircase up to the second floor. There is a single handrail on the stairs up to the guest bedrooms. A grab rail is fixed on the wall to help access into the bath in the en suite to Bedroom 1. Our full access policy is on our website.

Road from M1 - junction 29 (2.0 miles)Take A617 from Junction 29, towards Chesterfield. Take first exit and turn left at top of off-ramp. Take 3rd right, then 1st right (signed to Grassmoor), then 1st right again into Church Lane. Church Villa is on the right opposite the layby and the church.

Road from Chesterfield town (4.0 miles)Take A617 (signed to the M1) from Chesterfield town. Take the first exit (signed to Heath and Temple Normanton) turning right at the top of the off-ramp and going over the bridge. Continue on this road until the 3rd road on your right. You will pass Church Lane as the 2nd road on your right, but being one way you cannot enter at this end! Having taken the 3rd road on the right, take the next right, then the next right into Church Lane. Church Villa is on the right opposite the church.

Train from Chesterfield station (4.5 miles)Taxis are available at Chesterfield station. There are good rail links from all areas of the UK. You are able to reach Chesterfield without changing trains from Edinburgh, Liverpool, London (1 hour 50 minutes), Lands End and Norwich.

Air from East Midlands Airport (30.0 miles)East Midlands is the close airport to Temple Normanton, some 45 minutes by car or taxi. However there is also a good rail link from this airport, to Chesterfield station.
