Description

Tam and Carmen extend a very warm welcome to their guest house, Clifton Cottage. We are a small run bed and breakfast that offers a friendly and welcoming arrival to a great location for walkers, cyclists, Munro Bagging and motorists looking for a stop-over before continuing their journey We believe that Clifton Cottage should be a special experience for our guests, and encourage interaction with the family creating a homely atmosphere we also offer a free pick-up service from Crianlarich or Bridge of Orchy (to help easy those expensive stay-overs) this allows our guests to walk to these destinations as part of your days schedule, we then return you to that destination the following day to continue where you left of Tyndrum is a great location to use as a touring base for visiting many of Scotland's top attractions. Oban, Fort William, Inverary, The Trossachs. Loch Lomond, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh, all within easy travelling distance. There is something for everyone, cycling, boating, wildlife watching, canoeing, windsurfing, fishing, hiking, hill climbing, touring and golfing all within easy reach. Clifton Cottage is 2 minutes walk away to the famous Green Welly Stop which offers excellent food in its restaurant and a fabulous range of whiskies and a gifts in its well-stocked shops. Other eating places in the village include the Real Café which does exquisite Fish and Chips and Tyndrum Inn, a family run inn offering a bar and great food The Post Office and Tourist Information Centre is a short walking distance each offering great service. Tyndrum has 2 railway stations one going to Oban and the other going to Fort William

We are centrally located in Tyndrum and right on the West Highland Way path. From the cottage there is a two minute walk to the Post Office / General Store, public bar and restaurants Clifton Cottage offers a peaceful and quiet nights rest. We have four bedrooms, two double and two twin, all are en-suite and well equipped meeting all your needs. The conservatory doubles up as a dinning area and public room offering books, magazines and board games, tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits You nominate the time you want breakfast however early up to 9am in the morning allowing you an early start on your planned day or days activities Entry to Clifton Cottage is from 4pm to midnight. You can arrange at the time of your booking to arrive anytime after 12am or later than midnight or contact us by email or phone. We are hear to serve CLIFTON COTTAGE HAS HOUSE CATS
