Coniston House stands in a prominent position right in the heart of Stow on the Wold and features a Hot Tub. There is a fantastic offering of shops, restaurants and boutique delis all within walking distance. When you first walk through the door at Coniston House you really do feel like you own your very own 300 year old Cotswold cottage. The entrance hall leads into a cosy sitting room with electric fireplace and sumptuous furnishings. To the left is an open plan kitchen/dining room showcasing exposed stone walls and timber beams. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of crockery and cookware along with a microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. The light, airy dining room looks out onto the street and has plenty of space to seat 6 adults and 2 children. The door from the kitchen leads round to a wonderful ‘hidden’ garden which is fully enclosed with a lawn area and patio with outside seating and Woodfired Hot Tub. A perfect hideaway to spend an afternoon in the sun or to enjoy an alfresco meal. On the first floor there is a king room and a twin room next door. On this floor there is also a very large bathroom with gorgeous roll top bath and his and hers sinks. Up the stairs to the third floor you will find a further king size bedroom with built in wardrobe and en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. Bedroom four is a cosy seating space with a double pull out bed, perfect for children. There is also a flat screen TV just in case your group can’t decide between Strictly and X Factor! Opposite the children’s room is an extra washroom with loo and basin. The cottage benefits from our extra touches including a welcome hamper on arrival, Nespresso coffee machine, hairdryer and straighteners and of course soft fluffy towels and crisp white linen. Please note there is NO allocated parking for this property. There is free on street parking directly in front of the cottage and on the opposite side of the road however this is first come first serve.
