Curlew Cottage at Millfields Farm Information

Description

Curlew Cottage is a beautifully appointed, semi-detached stone cottage with fabulous views over the surrounding hills. Robust and flexible, this family favourite has a modern kitchen, three spacious bedrooms (two of which are en-suites) and a large rustic lounge with a log burner. The luxurious family bathroom benefits from a wonderful free standing Victorian bath to soak in. French doors lead out to a private garden and patio, equipped with a BBQ for alfresco dining during the warmer months. With cast-iron beds, wooden furniture and views overlooking a peaceful valley, Curlew Cottage is an ideal place for a tranquil retreat. The spacious kitchen, with its stylish black granite worktop, is modern and well-equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, free standing fridge and plenty of cupboard space. Enjoy meals together at the pine dining table, comfortably seating up to eight people. French doors lead out into the private garden and patio area, which includes a barbeque, perfect for the warmer months. Enjoy the stunning views as you overlook the Derbyshire countryside. Alternatively, in winter, there is ample room in the lounge for your party to curl up in front of the log burner and enjoy the TV/DVD player and stereo. The location is a short walking distance from Carsington Water and has easy driving access to Alton Towers and the natural beauty of the Peak District. It can be booked in combination with other properties at Millfields Farm to accommodate up to forty guests.
