The Golden Lion is located in the centre of the historic town of Corbridge in the heart of Hadrians Wall country. A picturesque & thriving town, with great tourist attractions steeped in history. Corbridge is renowned for its quaint streets and unique boutique shops. It is an ideal base to explore the beauty of Northumberland. The Golden Lion is a large , three storey building constructed using ancient stone taken in the last century from nearby Roman ruins. We are popular pub with a hard core of local trade which is augmented by a large tourist influx. There are 6 letting rooms at the Golden Lion with 5 doubles and 1 twin with all our rooms being en suite with tea and coffee making facilities & free wi fi access. Our restaurant serves fine quality bar meals from 12 lunchtime until 9pm. We have a number of special evenings on including Mondays is Steak Night 2 Steaks and a bottle of wine or 4 bottles of Sol for £25 Tuesdays we have Pizza/Pasta Night with any 2 for £10 Wednesday is quiz night with each team receiving a free pizza Fridays we have Fish Fryday with " giant Fish & Chips for £15 all day and Fizz Friday with a bottle of Prosecco at only £12.95 Saturday is Band Night with live entertainment from 9 pm in the bar Sunday we have the fantastic Sunday Lunch.
