The Lodge guesthouse is nestled in the grounds of Hemingford Grey House, in Cambridgeshire. The purpose built lodge in its gated location boasts six generous rooms all with en-suite facilities, individually designed with luxury and comfort at its heart. There’s plenty of space for you to unwind and relax in this tranquil setting. Hemingford Grey is situated on the Great River Ouse, which meanders alongside the village with its Norman Manor House, 12th century church and timber framed thatched cottages, making it a great base to explore Cambridgeshire and the surrounding area. With riverside walks, nature reserves and the picturesque market town of St Ives all within walking distance make this is the perfect bolt hole to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The University City of Cambridge is only a short hop away providing you with a great opportunity to discover this classic city, steeped in academic history. There is an impressive selection of colleges, museums, restaurants, cafes, shops and places to visit, all within easy reach. The Cock pub and restaurant is just two minutes walk away serving lunch & evening meals if you fancy a lighter bite the Garden Room Cafe is just a few doors down from the pub.

The Lodge is accessible from a built in ramp at the front of the building. 'The Willow' guest room is our easy access room it has plenty of space and can be arranged either as twin or a super king to suit your needs. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a toilet frame and shower seat. Please contact us if you need any further information.

Directions

  • Road from The South (1.6 miles)

    Leave the new A14 at Swavesey junction 24 and follow the signs to Fenstanton, St Ives this will take you onto the A1307 (The old A14) Exit the A14 at J26, head towards St Ives. At the first roundabout (VW garage on the right), take the first exit, marked "The Hemingfords". Continue past the windmill, school and village shop. The road splits just after the village shop, take the right hand fork and continue straight towards the church. Opposite the first left hand turn - you will see a large pair of iron gates these lead to The Lodge & Hemingford Grey House.

  • Road from The North - Huntingdon and Peterborough (1.0 miles)

    Leave the New A14 at junction 23, bear left and follow the signs to Godmanchester/Huntingdon A1198 go straight over two small roundabouts at the large roundabout with the Shell garage on the right take the second exit onto the old A14 now the A1307 signposted St Ives. Take the second left exit directly off the A14 signposted to Hemingford Grey (Goretree Road). Continue through the village into Braggs Lane at the T-junction go straight over into Church Lane, at the T junction you will see a pair of large iron gates in-front of you these lead to The Lodge & Hemingford Grey House.
