Breakfasts are hand cooked and delicious featuring local fruits and Kona coffee There is great snorkeling close, great views of the mighty Pacific Ocean. Most fruit grown on property. Pure Kona coffee direct from the farm.Enjoy the amazing Sunsets from your our private Lanai, There are many ways to travel and enjoy a place like Hawaii, We are a classical Mom and Pop Inn, most people are adventurers. We are Not a sports bar, People wanting a more luxurious totally inclusive hotel with restaurants, concierge service , inhouse entertainment, have the choice to stay at some of the fine hotels Mostly north of Kona town the Mauna Kea , and Hilton come to mind and are a option for our prized visitors to Hawaii

Hale Hoola is a travelers Bed and Breakfast. Guests base from here to further explore and enjoy the real Big Island.( as contrasted to a representational all inclusive Vacation facility). Being semi-rural Guests need to rent a car or make arrangements. We border old Royal land- like a state park-thern about 1.5 miles is the ocean. So it is wild undeveloped land between us and the ocean. We can hear the ocean and see it in a grand sweep of vision, The land has cows on it a rancher lease small group but we see them, There are also wild pigs . We our sounds are pigs, cows, hawks, some croque singing tree frogs and the surf. We are not all new and modern, we have good wifi and people can use their cell phones as a tv, We have no tv on the B and B level. The path to updeck breakfast and viewing is rock and easy. If a person can not do the path we bring breakfast to your suite and you can use your own private lanai, with it mini refrigerator and great view at your dining area. People come up to the 2nd deck for viewing sunsets or to enjoy a beverage. Our B and B is from anytime any where- enjoy yourselves.

Accessibility

Suites are On ground floor,, however, Breakfast is up path to top level- we can deliver a breakfast to your suite, if the Path is not feasible. The Showers are in the bathtubs, we have grab bars, but there is a step up to access the tub/shower. We have an outdoor shower, often used when returning from the beach / swimming.

  • Road from Kona Airport/Kona Town (20.0 miles)

    South on County 11 Also called Mamalahoa Hwy. Past Kailua Kona -town- road becomes 'country'

    Another Name for Mamalahoa is Hawaii Belt Road.  We are  1.5 miles past the county 11 turn going down to the SeaShore National Park called Pu'uhona O Honaunau ( known as Two Step) Look on your right as going south, The whole way you will have the Ocean of your right, those arriving  in early evening with have spectacular sunset .
