Description

A warm welcome awaits you at Heath House. Set in five acres, in Wakefield area, this early victorian house was built in 1884 by Henry Greaves, a local mill owner. All our rooms are en-suite and are individually furnished with TV, central heating, tea, coffee, plus fan heaters, hot water bottles and spare duvets for total comfort. There is extensive parking and a lock up garage for motorcycles and bicycles. We take great pleasure in providing excellent value at an affordable price for the business travellers, families and tourists. Our extensive breakfast menu, served in our lovely dining hall, is freshly cooked to order with our free range eggs, farm sausages and cafetiere coffee. We pride ourselves on only using the best quality produce and offer a lighter start to the day with fresh fruits, baguettes and croissants if preferred. We have several excellent local restaurants and are ideally situated for visits to the Yorkshire Minig Museum, Royal Armouries, Thackray Medical Museum, Bradford Film and Photography Museum, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park at Bretton Hall. You will find excellent discount shopping on the Mill Mile between Dewsbury and Batley, York, Bronte Country and Holmfirth' Last of the Summer Wine Country are only a 40 minute drive away.
