Higher Trewithen Holiday Cottages Information

Perched on the crest of the rolling hills, in glorious rural Cornwall, sits Higher Trewithen Holiday Cottages. Once a working farm, Higher Trewithen boasts a collection of 7 holiday cottages and apartments, sleeping between 2 to 8 people. With around 3 acres of paddocks, gardens and wooded walks Higher Trewithen offers ample space for families looking to roam the green and pleasant pastures with their four legged family members. A pleasant 15 minute walk leads to the picturesque village of Stithians which benefits from a local pub, a small village shop and Post Office and the late medieval elegance of St Stythians Church. Being only 9 miles from either coast, Higher Trewithen is ideally situated for holiday makers wishing to explore all of Cornwall's attractions! Towels are included in the price of your accommodation. Please be sure to request the number of towels you require for your booking at the time of your booking or at least 48 hours beofre arrival. A maximum of two well behaved dogs are very welcome to stay in all properties, apart from Weavers. We charge £20 per dog, per stay. As we keep a range of live stock, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times while on or near Higher Trewithen.

While we are happy to accept guests with mobility issues, our location and the age and design of the buildings does present some challenges to wheelchair users and individuals with limited mobility. However, The Nook and The Cottage are both ground floor properties but there is a low step into each cottage. A handrail has been fitted in the bath in The Nook. All properties with stairs have handrails. The Barn has a large picnic table in the garden that has been specially designed to accommodate a wheelchair. If you have any concerns about accessibility, please contact bookings@trewithen.com before making your reservation.
