Hillview Information

Description

Hillview is a recently modernised property with the best of facilities available. Inside the property there is an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with views to the front and rear of the property incorporating the nearby hills. Lovely view of the Craigendarroch hill from rear garden. The rear garden is well maintained and has a nice size Log Cabin with additional dining area along with a suite. A lock block patio and drying area are also just outside the rear door. A lockable shed to house bicycles or skis is also onsite. At the front of the property there is a private lock block driveway suitable for 3 cars. or Camper van Hillview is very central within Ballater. All the shops, restaurants and banks & ,bars are within 5 -10 minute walk from the property. Sporting activities such as golf, mountain biking, fishing, bowls or tennis are also within walking distance. There are several local walks surrounding Ballater and each one worth the journey. If skiing or snowboarding is your thing then Ballater is located 30 minutes from either Glenshee ski centre or the Lecht ski centre. Shooting & Fishing on local estates is only a short drive away and can be arranged if required. Ballater is an old Victorian Spa town with many people long ago claiming that the water contained special healing properties. All seasons, Ballater is a great place to stay, whether attending the local Highland Games, Sporting Events or just to come and chill and relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Balmoral Castle, Crathie Church and Royal Lochnagar Distillery are only 6 miles away. NOTE: A minimum length of stay 2 nights.

Hillview is privately owned by Helen & Phil and also maintained by them at all costs. They take great pride in ensuring the customer enjoys there stay and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the customer has all the arrangements to make thier stay a great memory.

Accessibility

For visiting guests the access is good front & rear of the property allowing the use of lower shower & toilet.Unfortunately the bedrooms are located upstairs and therefore no sleeping arrangements at this time. Special arrangement could be made for additional bed if sufficient time given.

Directions

  • Road from Aberdeen (50.0 miles)
    Follow the main Royal Deeside road towards Braemar, on reaching Ballater the Alexandra Hotel will be your first view alongside the river Dee. Turn right into village shopping area and turn immediately left of the hotel, Deebank Road pass the Police station on right hand side and continue approximately 150 yards along Deebank Road. Look for the Hillview sign positioned on the wall of the house almost at the end of the road on right hand side, also look for the house number 52!!.
