Honey Ridge Cabins Information

Description

The Hocking Hills area is known for its remote, heavily forested, hilly terrain which is home to deer, wild turkey, coyote, fox and an occasional bear, plus a multitude of birds, butterflies, reptiles, amphibians and plants. You will find caves, waterfalls, creeks and miles of hiking trails at multiple state parks and nature preserves. All of them will amaze you with their unique features, and every season brings it's own beauty. Stay with us and enjoy a quality built, spacious cabin on 22 acres of a peaceful, private, wooded ridge. Sleeps 6. Thoughtfully designed on one floor, there are NO STAIRS OR STEPS, and you will find the cabin exceptionally clean. This cabin includes all linens & towels, two private bedrooms with queen beds; a futon double bed; full bath with indoor two person Jacuzzi hot tub with ceramic surround; fireplace; a 10 ft. pine ceiling with ceiling fan; and many large windows with gorgeous views. The kitchen is set up for cooking with full sized appliances, lots of countertop and cabinet space; all cookware and dining ware are provided. Coffee, tea, paper goods and more are included for your convenience. We provide central heat and a/c, free internet and Wi-Fi, satellite T.V., and a phone with free long distance. The outdoor raised 12x16 deck overlooks a ravine and is furnished with a patio suite and propane grill. There is a fire ring next to the cabin. The cabin's location is remote yet only 15 minutes from four area parks and a lake. We are family friendly and pet friendly. This cabin is family built, owned and hosted since 2005. Rated Superhost on Airbnb and 5 star on TripAdvisor.

Honey Ridge Cabins

Hi, my name is Beth. I and my husband, Chuck, have lived in the Hocking Hills for over 27 years. My home state is Ohio, he is from Wisconsin, and we met and married in the Hocking Hills! We built our little homestead, raising hens, dairy goats, honey bees, and organic vegetables. Being "transplants" ourselves, we recognized how precious this part of Ohio is, and in 2005 decided to become involved in the lodging business and provide others with the opportunity to visit the Hocking Hills. Chuck is a builder by trade, and designed and built the cabin by hand. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are often mentioned in the journal our guests leave notes in. We even do all the cleaning ourselves, since we are very particular. Our goal is to provide a relaxed, comfortable setting for guests to return to after exploring the extraordinary forests, caves, creeks, waterfalls and natural rock formations that define this part of Ohio.

Honey Ridge Cabins has been welcoming guests since September 2005

Directions

A car is required when staying at the property
  • Road from 0 (0.0 miles)
We are located 25 minutes south of Logan, Ohio, and within a 15 minute drive to Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave and Cedar Falls.  Our exact location and directions will only be provided when a guest has secured a reservation by paying a deposit with a credit card.  We strongly suggest using a 4-wheel drive vehicle when visiting the Hocking Hills during the winter.  Snow covered hilly, curvy roads can be a challenge.
