The Horse & Jockey Information

**4th JANUARY 2021: OUR ROOMS ARE STILL OPEN! In line with government restrictions, we are currently only open for guests who are travelling for work, or a very limited number of other circumstances. Please email us if you have any questions.** Excellent location in the heart of Gainsborough town centre. A traditional and friendly pub ideal for an overnight stay or longer-term bookings. We offer five letting rooms at reasonable prices (including ensuite rooms), ideal for those on a budget and perfect for both overnight stays or longer-term bookings. [Please note that we currently only have 3 rooms available due to the Covid-19 Secure Guidelines requiring each room to be designated separate showering facilities.] Please note that the pub is open until Midnight from Sunday to Thursday and until 1am on Friday and Saturday. Busy trading periods are usually Friday and Saturday night with karaoke/DJ entertainment every week, and therefore the pub can get quite noisy at these times. [Note that due to the Covid-19 Secure Guidelines, the karaoke/DJ entertainment is currently discontinued.] Free high-speed WiFi is available in the main bar areas. Each room includes a TV, sink and tea and coffee making facilities. The bar serves a wide range of draught beers, draught and bottled ciders, spirits and other alcoholic and soft drinks to suit all tastes. The Horse & Jockey shows all major sports fixtures on Sky Sports, BT Sports and Freeview. *** VAT exemption (16.7% discount on total bill) available for long term stays (28+ consecutive days) - please enquire directly at bookings@horseandjockeygainsborough.co.uk *** ***Card payments: We accept all Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, as well as Diners cards. Payment can be made online via our booking system, on the phone, or in person at the pub. Full VAT invoices can be provided on request. ***
