The Emma Room was lovingly named after Emma Salvestrin who purchased the estate with her husband John Salvestrin in 1932. Nuances of lavender fill this room with delight. Emma's memory is always present with a beautiful cross stitch hanging on the wall that she made in Italy as a nine year old girl in 1906. Called the Acorn Room because when the Salvestrin family renovated the Victorian farmhouse in the early 1990's, the walls of this room were filled to the brim with acorns, walnuts and chestnuts.
