Directions

  • Road from Las Vegas, Nv. (220.0 miles)

The most direct route is to take Hwy 95 North to Tonopah.

Some people are interested in taking the Extra Terrestrial Highway, that borders Area 51 & visit the Little Alien Inn in Rachael.  For that, you would take Hwy 93 North, make sure you have a full tank of gas in Alamo.  Take 375 West to Hwy 6 West, not recommended after dark.  Rural Nevada is open range.  Be careful of cows, antelope, deer, elk, & wild horses.

  • Road from Yosemite, Ca. (145.0 miles)
    THE CENTER OF TOWN
  • Road from Salt Lake City, Utah (410.0 miles)

Take Interstate 80 West to Wendover  Take Alt 93 South to 93 to Ely.  Get gas in Ely.  Then take 6 South to Tonopah.  This is open range, so watch out for cows, wild horses, deer, elk, etc.  THERE IS NO GAS BETWEEN ELY & TONOPAH.
