La Posada Milagro Guesthouse Information
Description
La Posada Milagro Guesthouse is a historically rebuilt boutique hotel owned by Mimi Webb Miller. Using regional lumber, Ocotillo stalks, and stacked rock from its hillside, the structures were built on four existing foundations formed in the early 1900s when the mining town, Terlingua was booming. A touch of rustic Mexico is found in the stone and tile work, tin roofs and handcrafted doors. The guestrooms are small, but lovingly outfitted with cane and sotol stalk ceilings, ceiling fans, air conditioning and super-comfortable beds. Three separate bathrooms are available to guests staying in the Big Bend Bunkroom and The San Carlos Suite. Private bathrooms are found in The Santa Elena Room, Chisos Suite, Mimi’s Bunkroom and Mimi’s Guestroom. When staying with us, you’ll enjoy peace and quiet with stunning mountain views and yes, the stars at night are big and bright. Directions From the village of Study Butte, travel 41/2 miles west on Highway 170. At the entrance to the Ghost town, turn right and follow the signs to La Posada Milagro. It’s about a quarter of a mile from the Ghost town’s entrance. Once you’re at the coffee shop, drive past it and look for the sign with a rusty arrow on it. Then veer right to drive all the way up the hill to the guesthouse parking at the end of the driveway.
Rebuilt historic ruins from when Terlingua was a booming mining town in the 1800s.
