Lough Bawn House Information

Description

Lough Bawn House is a elegant Georgian family home in Co Westmeath, an area of Ireland renowned for its many loughs. Lough Bawn House sits high above Lough Bane, with amazing sweeping views. Nestled in a 50 acre parkland at the end of a long drive, Lough Bawn House is a haven of peace and tranquillity. The house boasts stunning views across the lough and wooded hills. This gorgeous country house has been in the same family since it was built in 1820’s by the current owner’s Great Great Great Grandfather. It is being lovingly restored and updated by Verity. Lough Bawn House offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation for up to 8 guests in three double rooms and one twin room. Throughout the seasons this is a serene and welcoming place in which to unwind. There are numerous activities close by such as castles, gardens, horse racing, music festivals and golf courses. Or simply relax in the homely drawing room near a log fire. Lough Bane is stocked with trout, day fishing passes are available locally and use of Verity's boat is available to guests.
