Low Branthwaites Information
Description
Nestled on the sloping fellside within Garsdale valley, Low Branthwaites is a place of dreamy tranquillity. Stunning views, surrounding nature and welcoming and cosy interiors will provide the perfect backdrop to your holiday. We are based within Yorkshire Dales National park and only 30 minutes drive from the Lake District National Park. Waterfalls, caves and spectacular hiking and cycling trails are all on our doorstep. We are just outside of Sedbergh, a lovely old market town at the foot of the Howgill Fells, with a great selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Our traditional 17th century dales Farmhouse hides two guest apartments with stylish yet comfortable and welcoming interiors, both with private access. The split level apartment in the east side attached barn includes two double bedrooms, a private bathroom, double high lounge with an open fire and uninterrupted views across the valley. The open plan garden apartment in the west side attached barn is a spacious bedroom with a super king size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower, and private dining. Continental breakfast staples such as granola, toast, jams and honey are included and will be served to your apartment, where you can enjoy them in the morning in complete privacy, looking out over the fells. You can also order cooked breakfast from the menu (with additional charge). We are surrounded by 14 acres of private land climbing all the way to the fells, including a flower garden and BBQ area for you to explore, relax and picnic on accompanied by sheep, pheasants and rabbits. Low Branthwaites is a rural property, based along a un-tarmacked track. The access to the apartment is via the track and a small flight of stone steps, which can be challenging to navigate and are unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility. Daily Housekeeping is included in your stay. Towel and linen changes and laundry services are available on request.
