Description
MAISON is a recently renovated townhouse in the village of Bushmills offering French inspired luxury (graded 5 stars by Tourism Northern Ireland) on the Causeway Coastal Route, one of the world’s great coastal drives. The open plan ground floor boasts an imposing real fire, distressed furnishings and a kitchen with granite work tops and built in appliances. A hand crafted staircase leads to two large en-suite bedrooms with views over the River Bush and bathrooms with spacious shower cubicles, free standing slipper baths, and ‘peek a boo’ shutters. Both suites have their own style, one’s chic bohemian while the other’s more country style, delicate and stylish. Both suites have Super King Sized Double Beds and enjoy luxury linens, towelling and toiletries exclusively from The White Company. Situated in a quiet residential development adjacent to the Bushmills Inn Hotel MAISON has a very private south facing patio garden to the rear. Within just 2 miles: -- Giant’s Causeway an UNESCO World Heritage Site. --“Old Bushmills” Distillery , probably the world’s oldest licensed distillery. -- Dunluce Castle, a breath-taking semi ruin perched precariously on cliffs rising up from the Atlantic. -- A quaint harbour and 2 sandy beaches. For those following the smash hit series ‘Game of Thrones’ MAISON is at the centre of many of its iconic film locations including the Dark Hedges. Just 4 scenic miles to the west is the Royal Portrush Golf Club, a classic dunes course and venue for the (British) Open Golf Championship in 2019
Your hosts Roy & Stella Bolton are close by en route to the Giants Causeway. They will greet you on arrival, introduce you to MAISON and are available to help throughout your stay.
