Meander In B&B Information


Built in 1898 for Capt. Forsyth, boasting original features such as stained glass, staircase, fireplaces, moldings and floors, this Queen Anne Victorian also has many modern conveniences. There are 4 guest rooms all located on the second floor. Room configurations range from queen with ensuite, twin or king with ensuite, queen with shared baths or queen and twin with shared baths. Cot and infant travel bed also available. There is an additional charge for a third person in the room of $25 + 15% tax). Children 5 years of age and under stay free. All room rates are subject to HST ($15% tax). We offer off season rates November 1 to May 1. Open year round. We are centrally located for day trips- within 1 hour drive to Halifax and Halifax Stanfield Airport. View the tidal bore within 15 minutes, visit wineries, apple orchards, pumpkins, lighthouses and more! With the twinning of highway 101, many residents commute easily to Halifax or throughout the Valley. Home to the Birthplace of Hockey, Dill Family Farm and Kings Edgehill School, Windsor is also known as the Little Town of Big Firsts. Ski Martock offers downhill, cross-country skiing and snowboarding and often hosts snowshoe events. On Tree Adventure Park is also located at Martock and offers challenging courses throughout the forest and is a 15 minute drive from Windsor. Avon Golf and Country Club is also 15 minutes and offers a challenging 18 hole course. Enjoy curling at the Windsor Curling Club which is across the street on Grey Street. Windsor is home to approximately 3,800 residents and is the service area for West Hants County providing shopping, banking, hospital, recreation, etc. for 26,000 residents.   • Road from Halifax Airport (72.0 km)

    Exit airport and take highway 102 towards Halifax, take exit Lower Sackville-Windsor and take 101 highway west until exit 6 - Downtown Windsor.  Turn left on Water Street. Albert Street is 4th street on left.  You will see Meander In at next intersection.  Proceed to back of property for free parking area.
