Moel Yr Wyn is set within an area of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty’, it offers panoramic views across the Llyn Peninsula and is located 3 miles from Aberdaron and 7 miles from Abersoch. Lying just on the outskirts of the former manganese mining village of Rhiw, there are some lovely walks and cycle routes to explore taking in views from St Davids in South Wales to the Wicklow mountains in Ireland on a clear day. Just 1 mile away is the national trust property of ‘Plas Yn Rhiw’ where there are manicured gardens, fruit orchard walks, and a super little café. Within a short drive are some lovely sandy beaches, ‘Porth Neigwl’ (Hells Mouth), Aberdaron, ‘Porth Ore’ (Whistling Sands),’ Porth Lago’ and ‘Porth Dinllaen’. St Maelrhys Church is just over 1 mile away near the cove of ‘Porth Ysgo’, this is a fantastic mornings walk to explore, taking in the old Manganese mine and waterfall. We offer a full cooked breakfast at Moel Yr Wyn including cereals, fresh fruit and porridge. For eating out in the evening Aberdaron offers 2 pubs and a Fish & Chip shop/café all with great food.

Moel Yr Wyn is located in an elevated position accessed by a unmade track, leading to a slate/chipping car park. The property access is by a block paved path, with a small 20mm in height weather strip. We have 3 rooms on the 1st floor accessed by a set of stairs with handrails. We also have a room on the ground floor that is on level flooring.
