Jeanette and Steve welcome you to Oakfield House Bed and Breakfast, Betws-Y-Coed. We are pleased to have recently taken over this wonderful house i 2016. And hope to see customers old and new... Our aim is to offer quality accommodation, warm and friendly service and a delicious breakfast made from local produce which will set you up for exploring the wonderful Snowdonia countryside. We do a key safe service which eliminates any stress the details are sent prior to check in. With it’s location in the picturesque village of Betws y Coed, known as the ‘Gateway’ to Snowdonia, Oakfield House is an ideal base for the many attractions and activities available in the area. We offer newly refurbished rooms updated 2022 which consists of 6 bedrooms: 2 doubles, 2 singles and 2 family suites which feature separate adjoining bedrooms older children /or adults can enjoy their evening without fear of disturbing each other. All our rooms have spacious accommodation, courtesy tray, flat screen smart TVs with the option to log into your own personal Netflix or Prime account, modern en-suite shower rooms. We also pride ourselves in providing a first class breakfast which is cooked to order from local produce ensuring maximum freshness and taste. We look forward to seeing you soon, and welcome your stay.

Directions

  • Road from A5 West (10.0 miles)
    From Shrewsbury head North/West on A5, stay on A5 all the way following signs for Betws-y-coed/Capel Curig/Bangor. As you enter Betws y coed you will pass a Shell garage on the left hand side, continue for 1.5 miles driving through the village passing a chines (Cross Keys) on the left, Oakfield House will be a further 300yard's on the left .
  • Road from A55 Junction 19 Llandudno Junction (18.0 miles)
    Come off the A55 at Llandudno Junction, (Junction 19) follow the A470 for 17 miles until it meets the A5. Turn right into Betws y coed, as you enter Betws-y- coed you will pass a Shell garage on the left hand side, continue for 1.5 miles driving through the village passing a chines (Cross Keys) on the left, Oakfield House will be a further 300yard's on the left .
  • Road from Bangor A55 junction 11 (17.0 miles)
    Come off the A55 Junction 19, follow the A5 (signe posted for Betws-y-Coed) for 17 miles. As you pass the Betws-y-Coed and 40mph signs you will see Oakfield House on the right hand side.
