Ideal for self-catering family holidays in the countryside. Ockhams Farm Guest House is a converted 16th Century Oast House set in a quiet rural location that forms part of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Enjoy walks around the farm, our ancient woodland, fields and lake, and see animals including ducks, deer, chickens, sheep and shetland ponies. Ockhams Farm Guest House has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen and a lounge. Generous discounts are available when staying for an extended weekend (check-in on Thursday or Friday for 3 or 4 days). Maximum discount available on bookings for 7 days. Local attractions include The British Wildlife Centre, Hever Castle and Gardens, Chiddingstone Castle, Penshurst Place, Chartwell House and Ashdown Forest, the home of Pooh Bear! The historic town of Edenbridge is two miles away, with shops, restaurants, pubs, banks, Tesco Express and Waitrose.

Directions

  • Train from Edenbridge Town Railway Station (2.4 miles)
    Edenbridge Town Railway Station. Calls at London Bridge (45min). East Croydon (25min). Crowborough (25min). Uckfield (35min). From Station Road turn left onto B2026 and through Edenbridge town centre, straight over the roundabout. Go past the BP petrol station. Turn right onto Marsh Green Road B2028. Turn left into Shernden Lane. If you miss the turning you can turn around in Marsh Green.

    Southbound on B2026 and through Edenbridge town centre, straight over the roundabout. Go past the BP petrol station. Turn right onto Marsh Green Road B2028. Turn left into Shernden Lane. If you miss the turning you can turn around in Marsh Green.
  • Road from Shernden Lane (1.0 miles)
    From Marsh Green Road B2028 turn into Shernden Lane. After half a mile take the left turn (you will see a small red postbox on your right at this location, and wooden signs to Ockhams Farm). Follow the lane around the lake and then bear right. Keep going up the lane and over the bridge until you reach the farm buildings. The guest house is the first building on the right. Parking spaces are available next to it.
