Old Walls Vineyard Information

Description

Old Walls Vineyard and Luxury Lodges is set above the beautiful village of Bishopsteignton looking across the picturesque valley to the neighbouring beach side resort of Teignmouth. Our 6 self contained luxury lodges are nestled at the bottom of our fully operational vineyard looking up to the vines on the south facing slopes above. Each lodge sleeps up to 4 guests and includes equipped kitchen, lounge, dining area, family bathroom, double room and twin room as well as a front veranda and rear patio area with BBQ. However a Z-Bed can be provided at an extra cost of £40 which is suitable for a small adult/teen or child. One complimentary Cole & Lewis toiletry pack is provided, however more packs can be purchased if required. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided with complimentary tea bags, coffee pods and biscuits. Extra coffee or hot chocolate pods for the coffee machine can also be purchased. If you’re looking to bring your dog on holiday both Auxerrious and Bacchus are pet friendly lodges with fully enclosed rear patio’s(Dog bowls and beds available on request). Old Walls Vineyard is a fully operational Winery producing a selection of both still and sparkling wine from grapes grown onsite, full tours and tastings available! New for 2018 fully licensed Regent’s Bistro open 7 days a week serving breakfast and lunch (evening meals are available Fridays and Saturdays).

Directions

  • Road from A380 (3.3 miles)

    When travelling to Old Walls Vineyard from the M5 join onto the A380, exit onto Kingsteignton roundabout and take the 1st exit signposted to Teignmouth, Shaldon & Bishopsteignton A381 Teignmouth Road. Continue for approximately 2 miles until you see 'Jack's Patch' garden centre on your right then take the next left onto Church Road. Follow the road up to the 'Ring of Bells' pub and take the right next to the pub onto Radway Hill then onto Radway Street until you reach the top of the hill take the left onto Old Walls Hill. Once you reach Old Walls Vineyard you can check in at the Bistro on your right.    

  • Road from Teignmouth (2.1 miles)

    When travelling to Old Walls Vineyard from Teignmouth on B3192 at the bottom of Exeter Road turn right onto Bitton Park Road. Continue past Shaldon Bridge towards Bishopsteignton on Teignmouth Road. Turn right onto Church Road. Follow the road up to the 'Ring of Bells' pub and take the right next to the pub onto Radway Hill then onto Radway Street until you reach the top of the hill take the left onto Old Walls Hill. Once you reach Old Walls Vineyard you can check in at the Bistro on your right.
