Oneida Community Mansion House Information

Description

The architecturally stunning Oneida Community Mansion House offers a unique lodging experience. Home to the utopian Oneida Community (1848-1880), it is now a National Historic Landmark at the center of a 250 acre historic site and destination which includes: a museum, inn, golf course, performance space, wedding and banquet facilities, trails, residential apartments, library, gift shop, cemetery and food programming. Included with your reservation is a complimentary continental breakfast in the breakfast lounge and a tour of the historic house. The charming first floor guest rooms in this unique Victorian structure all have a large private bath, high ceilings and expansive windows affording lovely views of the grounds. Guests are able to examine the social and private spaces inhabited by members of the most radical and successful 19th century utopian commune.
