Our Life Lodge Information
Description
Our Life Lodge is an early 1900's Farm that has been remodeled in order for us to share our 330 acre recreation property with guests. The House is comprised of 5 Bedrooms, 4 up, one down. 2 Baths, one on each Floor. Downstairs guests will find a fully stocked Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room, and Observation Room overlooking our Property which extends as far as the eye can see. We have also included a small game room to help keep guests entertained when the weather is less than ideal for outdoor activities. The Deck out back includes a Sitting Area, Hot Tub and Gas Grill. This feature also overlooks the rolling hills, pastures, and property which guests are free to Explore on Foot, or by Yes, ATV. When exploring the property on our 25 plus Mile trail system, guess will find 3 Creeks, a Fishing Pond (no swimming), and 10 acre active Beaver Pond. All of South Eastern Ohio's most Common and Rarest species of Wild Life either reside or have been spotted passing through the property. Bobcats and Wild Boar are often caught on our Trail Cameras. The 3 Creeks on the property and the East Branch Racoon Creek, West Branch Racoon Creek, which Combine to Form Racoon Creek the longest creek in Ohio in the Middle of the property. This is a very significant historical spot for both Native Americans and Settlers. We allow guests to enjoy their ATV's, Side by Sides, and Dirt Bikes on our property via the established trail system. OHV's only, no Trucks, Cars or Jeeps allowed off Gravel Drives.
Our Life Lodge is a satellite Property of our Wyandot Woods property. We have kept with the tradition of back to basics Family Oriented activities at this property as well. The name was derived from the fact that the place is just that, apart of Our way of Life here is South Eastern Ohio that we would like to share with our guests and friends. The Grounds, Trails, Bridges, and other interesting creations on the property were all made along side our family and friends through the years to better access and enjoy the property which has truly become a part of our life. This property is truly a place to get back to basics, enjoy the beauty of Nature, and escape the confines of civilization.
