In the garden you will find outdoor seating, a barbeque and access to the fantastic fields where you can walk your dog safely and enjoy the spectaculer views over the whole of St Andrews and beyond. We want to ensure that you can enjoy all the comforts of home during your break so we have provided a 47? LED television complete with a full SKY HD + package, Blu Ray/DVD Player and Wii games console as well as a large selection of family DVD’s, Blu rays and Wii games. The cottage also has complimentary high speed wifi, and a bluetooth speaker as well as a large selection of toys and games for all ages.

St Andrews is famously known around the world as the Home of Golf. Everybody has heard of the Old Course, but there are ten other courses as well! St Andrews Links Trust: Despite their hallowed reputation, the links here are public golf courses, open to all. An Act of Parliament in 1974 created the St Andrews Links Trust to preserve and enhance these public golfing rights. The Trust currently operates six courses on the links – the world-renowned Old Course, the New Course (established in 1895), the Jubilee (1897), the Eden (1914), the Strathtyrum (1993) and the nine-hole Balgove. A seventh – The Castle Course – has been built in a panoramic coastal setting to the south of the town. If the St Andrews Links courses are not enough, St Andrews also boasts four others of the highest quality: the challenging Duke’s Course which lies just inland of the town, the spectacular Kittocks and Torrance Courses at the Fairmont St Andrews, and the stunning Kingsbarns Golf Links.

Directions

  • Road from Glasgow (74.0 miles)
As you arrive into St Andrews you head up the main Largo Road past the bus station. Go straight through roundabout and past West Port Gate on your left hand side. Go straight through this roundabout past the Shell Garage, and keep following the road until you come to another roundabout which has the Hospital and Morrisons Supermarket at it. Turn left at this roundabout and follow the road up the back of the hospital - this is Pipeland Farm Road. You will go up the hill and go left and you will see the Steading in front of you. Go over a little ramp and then turn right through Pend and you will come to Osborne Steading. We have two car park spaces - one is under the covered area and the other is just in front of front door.
