The Pear Tree Inn Information

Description

In the beautiful Cotswold village of Hook Norton we offer a traditional great British pub experience with wooden beams, wood burning stove and a fine range of real ales, wines and spirits. The Pear Tree is located in the perfect spot at the entrance to Brewery Lane which leads up to Hook Norton Brewery so it’s no surprise that we have a full range of Hook Norton cask ale and crafty keg on tap. The bar is open all day everyday, from 12.00pm, closing at 23.00pm Monday to Saturday and 22.30pm on Sundays. Darts board available to anyone who wants to play. The Pear Tree is located in a quiet residential area, within 2 minutes walk of Hook Norton Brewery. Hook Norton has many beautiful country walks, for example; The Darcy Dalton Way. There is a regular bus service to and from Chipping Norton to Banbury, stopping in Hook Norton. Hook Norton has great amenities including; village shop incorporating the post office, local butches, hair dressers, Hook Norton Brewery and visitor centre, housing to village museum. We welcome one and all, four legged friends most welcome and we have a large garden and children’s play area at the rear of the pub. We also have parking for cars

Sitting in its beautiful, mellow Cotswold Hills landscape, Hook Norton is a proudly independent and passionate family business that takes the very best of its handcrafted brewing heritage and combines it with a thoroughly modern approach, to create a range of real ales for today’s drinkers to enjoy. Hook Norton is one of only 32 family owned breweries and is the finest example of a Victorian Tower Brewery in the country. Of course, the brewery is about so much more than just its fantastic range of award winning beers. We welcome over 25,000 visitors a year to our Visitor Centre and 37 of our pubs are at the heart of many of local communities, serving great drink and food to the region. Many of you will know Hook Norton, having tasted one of our beers, visited one of our Hook Norton pubs or indeed having come for a brewery tour, but few will know the full story. Our history and heritage are a large part of the picture, but so too are all the things that we are already achieving today and, of course, our plans for the future.
