Both of our guest bedrooms are recently renovated. They have luxurious hand crafted beds with crisp fresh bed linen. The bedding is all non-allergenic but feather pillows may be available on request. The rooms have black out curtains, a LED flat screen smart TV, free wifi. Tea and Coffee making facilities with fresh milk kept cold in a silent fridge. A wardrobe, dressing table and hair dryer with power socket in range of a mirror. Bedside lights and radio alarm clock. Numerous power and USB sockets. The en-suites are roomy and have a full sized bath with both hand held and overhead shower facilities, shaver sockets, heated towel rail and mirror. Fresh linen towels and complimentary toiletries are provided. Ironing facilities (DIY) are available on request. A dog bed, bowls and towel can be provided on request.

Description
Pengelly Farmhouse B&B is a traditional Victorian farmhouse situated in rural countryside, a short distance from the Cathedral city of Truro. We are within easy reach of both north and south Cornish coasts and the many attractions of Cornwall. We are a small, family-run bed and breakfast. We aim to give our guests a warm welcome and pleasant stay in a relaxed, peaceful setting. The farmhouse has undergone extensive renovation that ensures that our guests have a luxurious, spacious and comfortable visit. Many original features have been protected and are complemented by high quality modern touches. Pengelly Farmhouse B&B is in a tranquil location on a large arable and beef rearing farm with extensive countryside views over the parish of St Erme. We have two rooms with en-suite facilities. Both rooms have comfortable handcrafted beds and luxurious bed linen and towels. Tea and coffee-making facilities, silent fridge, fresh local milk and home-made biscuits replenished daily. Each room has a flat screen LED smart TV, radio alarm clock, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Guests also have access to a beautiful dining room and drawing room with a traditional log burner. Free wifi is available throughout the property. There is plenty of free parking and guests have access to a delightful cottage garden and paddock. The rooms are tidied daily to make sure that they are always welcoming. Our traditional Cornish breakfasts are included in your room tariff and can be taken in the dining room overlooking the garden. Please notify us when booking if you have any special dietary needs. As most of our guests come for some peace and quiet, and because we can only accept a maximum of 2 guests per room, we only take guests over the age of 16 unless both rooms are booked under the same reservation. We have our own friendly house dog and welcome well-behaved house- trained guests’ dogs – please read our guest dog policy on our website
We are a small family run B&B. After living and working all round the world we decided it was time to settle down at home in Cornwall. We looked for the ideal spot; peaceful and relaxing but within easy reach of everything Cornwall has to offer. We knew that Pengelly Farmhouse was just right for us so we set about an extensive 2 year refurbishment programme to make our perfect home and to be able to offer 2 spacious and comfortable en-suite guest rooms. We opened for the first time in July 2018 and embarked on our next exciting chapter living the dream. We look forward to welcoming you.

Pengelly Farmhouse is an old Victorian traditional Cornish farmhouse. Despite recent renovation it retains many of its original features including uneven flagstone floors, narrow entrance ways and areas with limited lighting and contrast. As such and regrettably we might not be best suited to all guests. Please contact us directly to see how we might be able to make the appropriate adjustments to make your stay more comfortable or perhaps to advise where those adjustments might not be possible. Road from A30 - A39 roundabout (3.0 miles)Take the A39 towards Truro. Exit for Trispen village by the Honda Garage. Almost immediately take the first left by the Cricket club/Community Centre and head north for 1 mile. Turn right at the T junction signposted to Ladock (4 miles), and head along the wooded lane for 0.9 miles. Drive on 400m past the entrance to Pengelly Farm and Pengelly Farm Cottages (on your left). The gravel driveway to Pengelly Farmhouse B&B is directly ahead after a sharp left turn between two tall granite pillars.
