Penquite Holiday Accommodation Information

Description

Penquite is a beautiful Arts and Crafts period home and garden with stunning estuary views set in a pretty Cornish village. Guests staying at one of the 3 unique and private accommodations have access to the garden, free parking and free wifi. 'The Seaside Suite' is suitable for up to a family of 5 and is situated in the old servants quarters with bags of original features through out. Arranged over 3 floors it has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge kitchen and diner and styled with carefully selected vintage furniture. 'The Garden Rooms' are named as such due to the sunny ground floor entrances onto both sides of the garden, comprising of a luxury one bedroom one bathroom apartment with kitchen diner, lounge area with a beautiful contemporary style. Finally, The Old Potting Shed is a surprising and gorgeous renovation of Penquite's old potting shed incorporating a bed deck built above the living area and features a wood burner, fully fitted kitchen and contemporary bathroom. All three accommodations are fitted out to a high standard and contain everything you need and more for your luxury stay in the heart of Cornwall.

Penquite is a family home where I am nearly always around to be of help for as much or as little as guests require. Penquite is my passion and I love and enjoy looking after it as a business and a home. I am very hands on in the garden and decorating, I like to do changeovers and laundry myself so that my guests experience is as perfect as possible and their accommodation is sparkling clean! I absolutely love living here, if you are only here for the shortest stay a walk to the expansive and stunning Porthkidney Beach just 10 mins stroll away is an absolute must! A short walk around the village takes you to pubs and bistros and the coastal train that stops in the village.. destination St Ives in just 10 minuets is incredible. You can pick up the coastal path and walk for miles or explore the abundant local Art culture including Tate St Ives and Newlyn Art Gallery. One of my favourite things to do is to visit the many subtropical and ancient gardens like those at St Michaels Mount an historic and ancient castle steeped in history!
