Description

Two superking bedrooms upstairs, each with private ensuite - open plan living/dining & kitchen opening onto patios & gardens downstairs. Separate utility with boot storage, washing machine & tumble dryer plus extra WC 2 double sofabeds in living room sleep extra guests by request (there is a charge) Each cottage has Wifi & smart TV 2 private parking spaces Bed linen & fresh towels incl Complimentary welcome selection of hot drinks & biscuits, Arran Aromatics toiletries (available to purchase at the end of your stay) plus cloths, tea towels, cleaning and dishwashing items are provided to make your stay more comfortable.

Accessibility

All cottages have sofabed on the ground floor, with access to WC cloakroom on the same level. Full bath/shower facilities are on the first floor

Directions

  • Road from The A1 (6.0 miles)
    Directions from the South (Alnwick) via Denwick & Rennington
    Follow the A1 North past the first Alnwick turnoff.
    Take the next exit, B1340 (Denwick, Seahouses & RAF Boulmer) and pass through the village of Denwick. 
    Continue straight on for 3 miles, go through Rennington. Take the next right after leaving the village (a small signpost for Embleton), over the railwaycrossing and, after 1/2 a mile, straight over the cross-roads (Embleton). 
    After a further 2 miles you will enter Embleton - the cottages are on the left just past the church, opposite the large white Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel
    Take a left at the main crossroads here to access the cottages parking 

    Directions from the North via the Coastal Route (Bamburgh)
    Follow the A1 South until approximately 10 miles South of Berwick-upon-Tweed. 
    Turn left onto the B1342 to Bamburgh (Brown signposted Coastal Route). 
    Continue on the Coastal Route through Bamburgh, B1340, and Seahouses. 
    Pass the village of Beadnell on your left and turn left at the next cross-roads continuing on the B1340. 
    This road becomes the B1339 with signs to Embleton (Coastal Route). 
    Drive into Embleton village - the cottages are on the right hand side opposite the large white Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel
     Take a right at the main crossroads to access the cottages parking


  • Road from Alnmouth Station - East Coast Mainline (8.0 miles)

    Just 8 miles from Alnmouth Station for trains to and from London / Edinburgh on the East Coast Mainline 
    Local buses and taxis available for the transfer
