Description

Darwin's Kitchen mixes the charm of a period building with chic design and modern art. The "boutique hotel style" offers free Wi-Fi, a 1 rosette 'Visit England' awarded restaurant and 'AA awarded' 5 star rooms. All guest bedrooms are unique, complementing the history of the building and showcasing Shrewsbury's rich period architecture. The individually designed bedrooms are decorated in light and airy colours, complimenting the exposed wooden beams. The spacious rooms have mood lighting, contemporary bathrooms with hairdryers and some have real log fire places. The designer shower rooms are well designed with all amenities expected from a 5 star restaurant with rooms, including fabulous complimentary Molton Brown toiletries. All rooms are fully equipped with artisan tea and coffee, and flat screen televisions. Darwin's Kitchen Bar And Restaurant With Rooms is in the centre of Shrewsbury, just a 5-minute walk from Shrewsbury Station and all town centre amenities. Darwin's Kitchen is really in the hub of things, with fantastic bars and restaurants just a stones throw away. The famous Quarry park is a 10 minute walk away, home of the annual RHS Shrewsbury Flower Show and Shrewsbury Regatta. Shrewsbury has most recently been voted the 2nd happiest place in the country to live, by Rightmove and has the "Best High Street" in the UK!

Street access is available into the bar and restaurant. Due to the age of the building, we unfortunately have no accessible toilets on site or mechanical aids to the guest accommodations on any floor.
