The Porthvean Information

Description

The building itself is old - it was the White Hart Hotel over 220 years ago, with parts of the property about twice that age. Behind our small private car park (space for 3 or 4 cars) are buildings which are owned by the National Trust. Also at the rear is a decked area for relaxing in the sun. At the front is a small terrace, sunny and sheltered, an ideal vantage point for local events such as the Carnival, Flora Dances and Victorian Street Fayre, or just sit with a drink and watch the world go by. (There are a further 2 private parking spaces here) Our bedrooms are beautifully appointed to a high standard of decor and comfort. Front: top floor - standard double with two single beds, kingsize double first floor - standard double with a single bed, standard double Back: first floor - superking double/twin, standard double All six bedrooms have en suite shower, washbasin and WC, flat screen TV's with Freeview, beverage making facilities, hair dryers, free WiFi access and a couple of them will take a cot without being too cramped.

It's an old building full of character with modern amenities. After more than 40 years here, we like to think we know our business!
